Rahul Parekh is the founder and CEO of online food brand EatFirst.
EatFirst is one of the first major online vertically integrated food businesses in Europe.
EatFirst sells high-quality prepared meals designed by top chefs across London. As the first online-only fully stacked food brand in the UK, the business has grown rapidly across London. The EatFirst service has won multiple awards due to the quality of the food, including the 'Best British Takeaway'.
Additionally, EatFirst has built a state-of-the-art IT platform with extensive back-end automated infrastructure and front end apps across all devices that are multi language, multi geography and multi currency.

Rahul has raised over €10m from top tier venture capital investors and currently manages a team of 40 employees. He enjoys being a hands-on entrepreneur in an operations heavy business, building a credible food brand, creating a forward-looking IT platform and partnering with investors that share his vision for the online food industry. He remains extremely close to similar players in the market such as JustEat, Deliveroo, UberEats, DeliveryHero, AmazonRestaurants, Frichti, Foodcheri, Munchery, Sprig etc.

Prior to building EatFirst, Rahul worked for over 7 years at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director in Derivatives Trading. Rahul traded equity derivatives and exotics with a proprietary bias in the concentrated risk team. He also traded securitised derivatives as part of the private investor product group. Rahul worked on developing the e-commerce business for structured products: Automation of retail, market-making platform and development of RFQ infrastructure for securitised products. He enjoyed risk-taking, investing, merchandising, market-making and securitisation.
