Jennifer is the founder of Home Cooking New York (homecookingny.com), a recreational cooking school in downtown New York City (circa 2002). The school offers private classes in students' home kitchens are well as a 7-day-a-week schedule of cooking classes at their SoHo location.
Prior to launching her boutique cooking school enterprise, Jennifer worked for 7 years in the field of recipe development/editing and food writing on the staffs of Saveur magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Martha Stewart Living.
She is the author of two cookbooks, Six Basic Cooking Techniques: Culinary Essentials for the Home Cook (2018) and Gourmet Cooking on a Budget (2008).
A lifelong teacher, Jennifer loves sharing information with anyone who will find it valuable for their own food business ventures.
