Ron Lyon has over 30 years of managed care and pharmacy management experience. This includes executive level experience at a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), PBM selection at a large health plan and numerous PBM evaluations, audits and procurements at a major consulting firm. He has over 20 years of developing clinical decision support and intervention programs that leverage integrated pharmacy and medical data. The complex algorithms embedded in these programs help health care professionals identify patient needs, deliver better therapies at reduced overall costs, and better target care management. Ron held executive roles with a pharmacy benefit manager, large health plans, disease management companies and was a practice leader a major consulting firm. Ron has a Masters degree in Pharmacy Practice from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from the University of Florida. He completed a two-year residency in hospital and ambulatory pharmacy practice.
